		<description>I hear you on remodeling a neglected house.  You know it's worth the effort to fix it, but when you're in the middle of it you just want it to be done.

If the Lord moves you when the house is done, you know He's telling you not to get so involved in shelter.  He's got other things for you to do.

I hope you get the house done and a chance to enjoy it for a while.

As a preacher's kid, we always lived in houses that the church owned.  That meant whatever they wanted it to mean.  I remember my mother stripping floors down to the wood and painting them, painting walls, and such, but I only remember one time when the church remodeled our home.

That was a great time and meant three of us children had our own rooms.  Heaven!
