The Preachers Wife

I feel as though my week has flown out of the window. I can’t really remember what all I did this week. It’s just one big blur.

One thing that I do know is that I’m a Nintendo fanatic. I’m talking old-school, Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt, nut! I bought a system for my Hubby for Christmas. It arrived earlier than I expected so he just HAD to have it before Christmas. Really, who could blame him, I was biting at the bit to get to it myself. So, we’ve been in “gamer” mode (or so I’ve been told) all week long. Now, don’t get me wrong, my house was cleaned and swept, and tended to before I ever touched the thing but every free moment I’m frantically trying to get that silly plumber boy to “KILL the MUSHROOM!” Yes. Did I mention I must win?

I actually caught myself at one point saying “Lord, help me kill this dragon thingy”. I’m sure He said “Sure, child. Let me get right on that.”

Is there a 12 step program for Nintendo addicts? I may need to check in.
