Tedious Tuesday
I must say, it really has been a tedious week for me. I’m not sure why but I have struggled through this week (and it’s only Tuesday!). We’ve had a few speed bumps this week that have sort-of thrown us for a loop and we’re on the other side of bouncing back from them.
I’ve thought about the trials a lot lately. It’s a necessary evil sometimes for us to grow and rely on God. It’s mostly true, when Christians are in trouble they’ll pray but for whatever reason when trouble is no where to be found, we suddenly forget to pray. I’ll put myself in that boat. Absolutely, I have a prayer life. However, those bad situations keep me in prayer not just here and there but in a constant state of prayer. I guess it’s that reminder whispered in my ear “Child, you still need me. Remember? Let’s talk about it.”
And so we talk.
And I always feel better.
Even if the situation wasn’t resolved, God is still good. Heaven is still mine to gain.
