I’m tired…
Okay, like most of you I’m sure you stayed up a little too late and are a bit tired. No, I was not up partying or vice versa, in fact, I turned the tv off around 9PMĀ because I was so sick and tired of turning the channel to find yet another election update. I’m not going to post my particular opinion about the current president-elect. I wish him God’s grace and mercy. Let us all remember to continually keep our leaders and politicians in prayer. Constantly praying for God’s guidance and that our country not fall further from His will.
We are a blessed nation, only God knows how long that blessing will last. Our backs continue to turn from Him yet, we still expect the same blessed existence. We probably need to stop hitting the snooze button on our spiritual alarm clocks and realize that we must awake and be busy about the Father’s business.
I hope the best for Obama. I sincerely pray he seeks the counsel of God the Father. If he does, his administration will be thoroughly blessed. Do remember tonight that before you turn in to bed to drop to your knees and keep the following in prayer:
1. God does not withdraw His hand from our country.
2. God’s provision.
3. Our country’s leaders.
4. The men and women who bravely fight for our country, whether you believe in the war or not, they are fighting so that you can have an opinion. So, show the upmost of respect for them.
5. The men of God that stand behind the Holy Desk each week that God may use them in a mighty way.
6. Your family.
7. Your sins.
8. His forgiveness.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
