Work Load Wednesday

Much to do today, Wednesdays tend to be more hectic than others. I don’t know about you all but it seems as though just when I think I’ve caught myself up on things, I find more that needs to be tended to. Some how vacations tend to be a lot of work after you return home. This baffles me. I scrubbed this house before we left. No joke, I was on top of the kitchen cabinets polishing them. Crazy, I know. I just hate coming home to a dirty house and so I clean before we leave. The house didn’t appear nasty nor would I be nervous about inviting people over. However, it seems as though our lovely little kitty-cats left no stone unturned while we were gone. I’ve found paw prints everywhere. Needless to say, once again I’m cleaning and trying to get things back to normal. I love vacations, though. I’m still dreaming about that ocean and the waves….. calgon take me away!wlw.jpgwlw.jpg

I’m being reminded of the work load our Savior must have carried. I imagine His workload on earth was quite a task. Yet, He never complained. So, in the midst of choas, running errands, phone calls, and laundry I too need to remember to take it all with a grain of sand. At the end of the day, when His children are called home what will the speck of dirt on the floor matter anyhow? Don’t misread, you should care about what you have been blessed with. Far more, especially now-a-days, have far less. However, stressing out and becoming a pain to everyone around you is not what we were designed for. Take time out of the work load to appreciate the debt of love Christ has given for you. Remember his workload. Yours won’t seem too difficult after that.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour , working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth .  Eph 4:28
